I created a "pop quiz" for a 7th grade Language Arts class. It is based on the book, "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". Google docs are a great way to create quizzes that automatically compile the assessed data and enters it into a spreadsheet. The ease of use for teachers to be able to view a compilation of all the students answers to each question and final grade is very time efficient. I think the students would enjoy taking an online quiz as well. Students who are not exposed to computers as often as others could easily navigate the quiz and it would be engaging for all to answer assessments in this manner versus written handouts.

Flubaroo Software is a great way to compile all the data collected from the quizzes taken. It gathers all the data and converts it into a spreadsheet. The ease of assessing students progress throughout activities and the year is much easier than a hand written grade book. The data is graphed in such an easy readable manner.
